People and critics would always love to make comparisons, when two big movies of a same genre releases in a span of 12 months. It is obvious that they would be keen to find some similarities between the two films. This is coming true in Shahrukh Khan's case, as cinegoers have already started comparing his Ra.One with Rajinikanth's Endhiran.
Speaking about the movie, Sharukh Khan has said that Ra..One is entirely different from ENTHIRAN. The Bollywood actor believes that both the movies are different from each other and it is unfair to compare them. He does not like to talk about other's film. But the Bollywood movie is a tribute to the superstar's multilingual film, says the actor.
“They (Endhiran and Ra.One) are different films and how to compare? Ours is a different film. I will not like to talk or claim about anyone else’s film, but Rajini sir is respectable to all of us. Actually, we have a tribute to Rajini sir in the film. We love him.”
It may be recalled that director Shankar's first choice for Endhiran was Shahrukh Khan and Kareena Kapoor. The filmmaker and the actor were keen to work on the project but some creative differences made them to part ways. However, the title of the Hindi version, The Robot, was originally registered by Shahrukh Khan's Red Chillies. However, SRK gave away the title to Shankar after the director sent a request letter to the actor asking him to lend the title.
Rajinikanth and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan starrer Enthiran was made with the budget of 120 crores.
